Level wise Vacancies:-

  1. Lower Primary level (LP):- 3672 Posts
  2. Upper Primary-Social Science UP (SS):- 157 Posts
  3. Upper Primary-Maths & Science UP (M & S):- 85 Posts

Qualification:-

  • Lower Primary level (LP):-  50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP- TET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes OR At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP- TET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations,2002. OR At least 50% marks in Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with LP- TET/CTET and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
  • Upper Primary-Social Science UP (SS):- Graduation from UGC recognized University with UPTET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes OR Graduation with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with UP- TET/CTET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University OR Graduation with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with UP- TET/CTET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
  • Upper Primary-Maths & Science UP (M & S):- B.Sc. from UGC recognized University with UP-TET/CTET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) from recognized institutes OR B.Sc. with at least 50% marks from UGC recognized University with UP- TET/CTET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University OR B.Sc. with at least 45% marks from UGC recognized University with UP- TET/CTET and 1-year Bachelor in Education(B.Ed.) from recognized institutes/University in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Selection Process:- Selection will be made on the basis of Marks obtained by the candidates in TET/CTET, Academic Qualification, Professional Qualification and excellence at NCC (B or C certificates), State level sports, cultural activities.

How to apply online for Sarba Shiksha Abhiyan exam 2017:- Interested and eligible candidates are required to apply Online through SSA website www.ssaassam.gov.in from 05.10.2016 to 25.10.2016.

Note:-

  1. After successful submission of the online form, candidates shall take a print out of the form and submit the same along-with self attested copies of mark sheets and certificates in support of educational qualification, caste, disability, TET/CTET, professional qualification (D El Ed/B Ed and Co-curricular activities at the time of documents verification before the District Level Selection Committee of the concerned District.
  2. Candidates should be very cautious while submitting the on line application form as once the online application is submitted against a particular Roll number of TET/CTET, he/ she will not be allowed to submit the online application form for second time.
  3. After submitting the online application form, the candidate will get a Unique Number against the submitted application. The candidate should keep the record of the Unique Number for all future reference.
  4. The candidate should note that failing to appear before District Level Selection & Verification Committee for verification of documents on the scheduled date and time will result in cancellation of his/her candidature. No further communication in this regard will be made.
  5. The Office will not be responsible for any lapse in submission of online application due to any technical problem.
  6. The following original certificates and documents have to be produced and attested copies of the same to be submitted before the District Level Screening & Verification Committee on the specified datea. Pass certificate and Mark sheet of Higher Secondary and Graduation. b. Pass Certificate, Admit Card and Marksheet of High School Leaving Examination. c. Pass Certificate and Mark sheet of Professional Qualification like D. El Ed, B.Ed. etc. d. Pass Certificate and Mark Sheet of TET/CTET e. Certificates in support of Schedule Caste/ Schedule Tribe (Plains or Hills)/ OBC/ MOBC f. Candidates with disabilities (Orthopedically Disabled) will have to enclose certificates of disabilities. g. Certificate of NCC (B & C certificate only), Sports and Cultural ( Representing State or Nation).
  7. The teachers (Contractual), so selected will have no claim for any appointment whatsoever against any regular vacancy or permanent absorption in the school or in the Education Department in future.
  8. The teachers will be posted in the schools having the medium of instruction as per the medium (language-I) of the candidate in the TET.
  9. Only Bengali medium TET qualified candidates will be eligible to apply in the posts of Barak valley districts.
